I wouldn’t mind playing in this type of variant. A Neutral position would be right up my alley in fact. I was getting a wee bit tired of this overblown command/control/coordination aspect of the game anyway. Let’s take it back to the Old School!

Well Chris I have heard this talk before, Din Ohtar is getting his cheap thrills killing in an area that does not really benefit the team all that much does it? Can Din Ohtar take all my Major Towns? Can Din Ohtar even find all my characters I don’t think so. Can my allies ensure my survival? Certainly no question. While you have challenged and killed newly named characters and padded your score the west is being systematically reduced. Who have you killed that really mattered; Uirdyks, Threlin, Gain some newby emissaries? Are any of these critical deaths? Can these guys be replaced in a single turn? How long will you sit at 3012 with no victims and nothing to sabotage or steal that matters and pad your score while Rhudaur, Angmar and Harad burn? You are playing right into my hands my friend keep up the good work. Wrong thread I guess to post this on but maybe Darrell can move it to the Game 39 thread as well.

The issue is that the game is what the game is. Bikes were the primary mode of transport when I was a kid, now everyone I know drives cars. Of those who still own and ride bicycles, they do so not because they’re trying to prove they’re as useful and/or cool as cars, but for the intrinsic worth of biking in their own minds, for whatever that’s worth.

Yo, Brad…you know me so you know this is true…I ride my bicycle (or walk or take the bus) because cars are an evil pox on the face of the planet…especially in your city.

Oh yeah, and long games rock. I’ve only dropped once & that was 'cause I was the only player left on my team, the enemy was public disparaging my character & Clint was asking me to consider their request that I drop. A shameful moment in my PBM career…never again!
