Yes the big skellie’s the one. No need for combat. Took 2 turns so not sure you actually need to submit the 285 order either. I did 285 FLEE and 900 arty no. Next turn 2 900s and got arty, ignored the encounter the 2nd time. So it must be based on chances of findfing at 900, bonus if you’ve LATd? maybe need to try but no way to be sure.
So yes a scry and a 900 should be ok. Not tried though.
Am collating all my encounters with their descriptors. Am probably going to have to try the ‘elbereth’ answer on the Balrog next turn too. Will do a 900 on the arty at that location to see if this works. a flee and a 900 worked elsehwere too. Seems there is a generic neutral response to a lot of encounters.
Yes confirmed twice now. The skeleton in the cave/mirror etc encounter. You dont need to respond to this one. If you know the arty no. subsequent 900s will gain you the arty. Of course those that have challenged Id like to know what happened succesfully and failing.
