G66 Turn 17

You are waiting for winter?

You don’t even know how many DS there are?

It took an enemy using the message board private message function to give advice to one of your nations regarding character naming/training/usage? Should we review their orders also for the rest of your “team”…?

Has anyone been in touch with Harad over there?

Tormog? You effect a single character and you take the liberty to mention it in public? Have you SEEN the NG pdf…? or is that what you meant by "BOTH Gondors:…?

Camp war and market? We STARTED in winter…meanwhile -> YOU controlled the market and YOU won the “camp war”…? Bully for you…catching on yet…?

We simply wanted to save you some embarassment.

Ta

Wow, I knew Elves were a little “off” but damn,
Obviously you can’t take a little ribbing. You also have no conception of reality. I guess you will just have to learn the hard way…

Uvatha

Hey you know these “High Strung” Elves, they tend to go off when you poke them.
Unlike Orcs who are always “Off”.

Regards Hallas:)

Wow somebody did wake up the Sinda  and they are in a bad mood:mad:

That wasn’t a very good move  Darkies!

Thelor 66

error, posted twice:confused:

Wow what rock did the Elves crawl out from under?

<What planet am I on>

Mordor I think, its 110 degrees F here, 120 in my car. <g>

<How about Tormog>

Hmmm you did not read the board I guess. I posted my ill luck with the challenge of Argeleb II at the begining of the thread. He died in an even challenge. Too bad, but I will take even odds at trading Tormog for Argeleb ANY DAY.

<what do ya mean things not going our way wake up>

We seem to have very different perspectives on this, I am not going to even attempt to change your mind.

<We are attempting to bait your team into dropping because we are desperate>

Uhhh no. As I stated recently I DO NOT want you to drop. Please don’t, you will get the same courtesy from me in return.

<Stop posting on this board and prove yourselves in game>

Sorry but posting on the board is part of the entertainment value for myslef and other members of my team. We are not going to stop enjoying ourselves because you see it differently. :stuck_out_tongue: We do plan on proving it in game however, dont worry.

Now if I can make one small request-- would it be possible for you to post a short note here once every, say 3 turns, instead of a ranting essay once every ten? We miss talking to you.

Urzahil

Hey I didn’t know the DS could read? I thought that’s why they put the little icons on the messages so the DS would have something to look at!

Regards Hallas

We sure can read,we didn’t think you guys could write. We need the little icons to entertain ourselves, I guess we were sick of talking to the silly little guy. If only one or two more people on your team knew how to spell maybe we could have actual discussions. Until then though :stuck_out_tongue:

Uvatha

The Elf spelled better than the Dwarf, but his whole “Stop all this talking! Stop it! STOP ITTTTTT!” makes one wonder what’s spinning the wheel between those pointy ears. I guess we’re stuck with the Stumped and the Stunned…

dragon

Egads boys I think Hallas is onto us… better revert to cuneiform like we planned!

#&%$&% (trans: Urzahil)

Now now, we all know that cuneiform was developed by the Phonecians in the bronzish age as a prelude to AccPac and is more along the lines of slashes and dots…you have too many curly curves in your feeble attempt at humour. Historical accuracy please, or Sinda might get upset…or was that the Thracians…? Were there Thracians? Ah hell…

Dragon the Eddoocated (sp?)

Wow, you guys are really edumacated for a bunch of Orc whippers, and wrong which isn’t surprising.

Phonecians developed the precursor to the alphabet,
Sumerians developed Cuneiform (The guys in Mesopotamia about 300BC).

Regards (the slightly better edumacated) Hallas

Hey, Thanks Hallas!

But the pressing question: was cuneiform straight and angular, or more curvey…?

Thanks,

Dragon, Skipping Classes Again

Aren’t the"Summer"ians the ones that spend all their day on the beach playing volleyball?

Thelor 66
the edu… Dwarf

OK Listen up:

Hallas is correct that cuneiform was created by the Sumerians. Brad is correct that the style of writing was sharp and angular “as if made by a wedge-like object”. One of the things that I love about middle earth is that it is played by so many people out of the U.S. who actually have a clue about such things… Refreshing…

Did the dwarves say something?

Urzahil

Um, Mr Urzahil,

The Rest of the World outside the US is the REAL surprised one, to even find a single Literate American, talk about an Edoocated one…please…

The literate American doesn’t surprise me, it’s the ones that actually realise that there is “the rest of the world” out there and knows a bit about it thats surprising!!

And yes the style was angular wedge shaped lines and dots.
(Think heavy handed Elvish)

Oh! did we upset you Urzi, my apologies!

Who did that to the nice DS? You , Ok you’ll get promoted

Thelor 66

Hey Thelor try posting in French… I think something is lost in translation like uhh THE POINT.
