Game 13

Play nice Ian, we don’t want him in Mordor. He plays the bassoon and is always harassing the ladies with his [ahem]cough poetry. Let him hang out a little longer, please~?

Hi Brad didn’t know you were in this game, your not the Rhu? are you? Its because of his poetry that we have been forced to implement his relocation plan. The Vogons can take lessons from him

Have you looked at your map??

VEO…didn’t I just see you in game 3?

Depends on what you think you saw. If you saw a plucky neutral try a risky plan and fail, taking it like a man and saluting his foe, then yes, that was me.

I was just curious if you requested the Rhudaur, since that was the nation you played in that game.

How have I got a reputation for the basoon and poetry? I thought my secrets were safe!!!

No Rhudaur this game Orillion. Safe in Mordor, far from the orchestral reject up north…

Nothing from the Free? Ian, you all there is? Considering the defensive capability of your hideout, you just might all there is, in a literal sense, soon enough…

Nothing in the whole week? Some of our FP reputations are obviously overstated. I guess all that’s left to say is exactly when they’ll retire from the field of battle honourably, or do they intend on dragging this one out? I’m calling this game now. See you in DEATH in a few hours…

Gimps of the Dark Lord:
We may be overestimated, our generals may rarely be sober, our team coordination may remind you of federal administration and you are our adversaries ! So we still have decent chance. Any servants gone bankrupt yet? were those armies we havent seen just disbanded?? or are they cleverly hiding in some mountain cave ? Not that you would have needed them so far, but who knows, that may change. North gondor is burning piece by piece, but thats all part of a complex strategy, which are being formulated as you read. See you soon most excellent enemies.
Tarondor
("…where did I put that shield?")

What exactly are you talking about, you of the missing artifact…? Have you spoken with your Sinda ally recently? Nimrodel, Tharudan and 2 newly named emissaries are all DEAD at his capital this turn. Not very complex…

We’ll take a bit of credit for not going bankrupt yet, but I REALLY want to hear from your Sinda player…

Season Change is imminent. Bankruptcy, not so much.

hmmm…I dont think he is ready just yet - post traumatic stress and such…

That I can understand. You know, I kind of like you. It almost makes me feel bad. Tut tut.

Okay. You’re boring. And I don’t feel bad for saying that. I’ve had worms die on hooks with more enthusiasm then you folks. I’ve seen drunken strippers put their clothes on faster than the witty replies flying out of the Free Peoples. I’ve enjoyed Hamburger Helper more than the banter on this thread…!

Ah, whatever…

Read the Game 5 thread, I have no idea how it got to two pages.

glancing over palanthir just looking at icons, it looks as if this turn went to the free…finally

Free? You’re kidding… What, exactly, went to the Free…? If you are thinking Angmar, well, I mean “besides Angmar”…

Otherwise, I see Gondor being directionless and boring, the Northmen and Eothriam doing nothing. A more than adequate Dragon Lord, and, well, a couple bad agent rolls for us combined with some dolt SG mage a day late and a dollar short. Seriously, Baranor? Sad state this, don’t tell me, Elrond started with Perceive Secrets and failed to learn 412 on turn 1…? Still sitting at Imladris? :stuck_out_tongue:

AND - I still haven’t heard from the Sinda…
