well, you guys can say all you want about how it’s “easy for CL to take out EO”, but in PoWeR 2, finshed just prior to PoWeR 16 starting, it didn’t happen. Quite the opposite. In that game, the DS caved just when Harad landed a HUGE army with war machines on the CL capital… what was it… turn 11 or 12 or something like that? And of course, that was after QA was waxed completely Now to be fair, it was a 3:2 neutral split, with the 2 going FP being HA & CO (a powerful southern split for FP to balance out the early Rhu & Duns DS declaration and later Easterlings DS declaration).
Nonetheless, the CL didn’t do squat in the way of taking out any nation in PoWeR 2. I think you’re seeing otherwise in PoWeR 16 (not to mention an early curse squad, and…)

You know Dave, its easy to compare this game to game 2, well wait no it isnt. But Ill allow you to prattle on because it seems you like to hear the sound of your own voice and ego.
This game was done Grudge style, both with the team setups and the neutral split. Now if you think an early RHu/Duns declaration equals the Corsairs/Harad split, from game 2 then I give you waaay too much credit as a player.
I doubt that if this game had similiar game mechanics as the last, you would have the market you do. The fact is the Freep of the last game may have had a more grudge style team effort, the DS did not…that was that game, this is our current game, please do try and keep the two separate because it makes you sound foolish.
Dont get me wrong the efforts in this game by the DS have been great, an early curse squad and this market are very commendable, but you beating the dead horse of game 2, makes you sound like another 4 legged animal related to the donkey.
Well, I won’t even mention G69 after that… Lol
Excellent, then mebbe my work on that subject is done, all it comes down to is keeping it in the present. Talk smack in the current game not ages past.

I agree (and noted in my post) that the games were different.
That said, I personally think CL didn’t support the DS cause adequately in PoWeR 2. That was my only point in comparing that game and this game.
Perhaps I strayed over the line…

I am guessing they lost more MT/cities than we did. Never a good thing to have happen if you are the FP especially if you are being slayed at will by the DS characters.

LOL it is not the characters lost, it is the loss of orders.
The only challenge is whether or not the DS can stop the FP armies and disband them before they take a DS pop center. On the flip side it is how well the DS characters shape the battlefield for our armies.
