As opposed to… 18 turns with all the help “You” can get (including 2 neutrals recruited by the freeps for you)… yeah pretty small shoes when it’s put on the other foot, “Night without a Fight”…

Did you take a look at your battle report… Mmmm some archers some sheep a few bananas… is all it took to knock out your capital aka Carn Dum… sharing the same last name as your military tactician, it appears 
Truth is, (you’ll be new to that idea)… but the freepers were there to clean your armies from the area, not to actually take the place.
You only needed an orc farmer with a toeless left shoe to kick us out during 6weeks of combatless occupation… something you can put on your resume… I’ll provide reference for you?
You see, all the other nations on your team wouldn’t let us spend one turn on a pop centre (let alone the capital) and here you are braggin we spent 3 very long turns on your city castle… must have had as much loyalty as your allies when your relocation plan was formulated…
I’ll invisage this:
The DS Leaders gathered around the hex table with the oblique legs and the sqaure Barmaid, to decide the fate of the infamous deserter known as Nightsblame… it is rumoured that one Nazgul said, “Do we put Naz Nighty in the front line to defend Mordor with such great military commanders and mighty challengers as he commands?” This Nazgul was last seen dangling from a Mordor sign post… where the Dog Lords hounds practiced their urination techniques… and thus the fate of the Nighty relocation was known throughout the lands… Perhaps it’s somwhere completely isolated from fighting is presumed from this Tiger tale 
The WK ‘Carn hold a pop’ story is, it was only when Throky, a free people dragon and not the only one used to take a DS capital with a handful of fruit and sheep, decided to fry your vacant lot to a thin and crispy…
The feel good story is… to make way for the new retiree home for old homeless Hobbits… renamed, “Dunrootin” which became another Freep success story of Angmar… ( note: the area renamed to “Ang Anyfing” that resembles a DS soldier?)
We freeps simply couldn’t afford your “orcs with skirts” too much resource as we rode the only sheep, mounted by a banana weilding, cave dwelling midget, into the real threat of Angmar… the Duns!
While we were taking down a real military man like the Duns… whom, through your combined help of taking his funds and offering a cuddle in return and more respected than your 18 turns of nothingness, it was decided to whipe our “shoes” on the mat of love of the north and take a clean pair of heels to Mordor 
Yes, we expect you are beyond our reach… the far corners of middle earth too close for even your allies to bare :rolleyes:

DS curses just operating, with arties for how many turns? I assume you are supplying your team with some help here… please tell me you are or the story just got better, in life or in death, your story will be remembered
Win or lose, it will always be a pleasure playing agianst your “Die without a fight” and “Run faster than a DS City inhabbited by an ungodly amount of diarrhoea” type of game play.
Please send me some anti freep smack talk and continue to use an alarming amount of factual represetations as recently and historically forumised… your killing me but not with your military game… or anything other than laughter actually

Ummm, have you not noticed the character attack by your nation and that of your allies on the easterling, on the harad and in part, on near every other freep nation as expected from a freep perspective???
If your question was “are you desperate to finish this game off”, the honest reply from me would be YES.
However, this probably isn’t likely to happen as I have found reect with many of the DS fight and I expect that many of our team would continue to play on for another 18, I would guess… given their char base, geography, etc.
It’s possible this could go 50 turns and down to 3 a side… hope one of the 3 isn’t mine… unless the forum chat ignites my desires

Hey Ditski… I dont see how we are going to go down to 3 aside - or more specifically I think that the dark days (light days?) for the DS are over… wtih the economies booming, 4 or 5 successful market buyouts on the trot and much of the Easterling tax base in our hands… so I dont see the DS team shrinking…we have spare money and MTs-a-plenty as you would guess
I am (not that) sorry to say that I think your 7 or 8 turns of ascendancy t8 - t15ish represent the flower of the FP;s opportunity… and I think we have managed to wrest the initiative - or at least a chunk of it - over to us. Maybe you were too generous in launching a preemptive strike on Duns… and in some ways this is the part of the game that I think is worst balanced: once the DS get going on the character war and get a full house of agent artefacts, they are almost unstoppable.
So I kind of hope that this lasts another 10 turns at least, cause all that pain you gave us needs some payback. And you only just experienced the first curse squad this turn

This char-pooling is something I’ve seen in games with desperate players without ideas, maybe it’s an effective way to win a game.

At the meoment I’m really not desperated but this might change tomorrow evening ( GER v. ITA ).
The max of chars I’ve used against one of your pop-centers were 4 and I can’t say much more in this case.
Eyh Ditto, this game is getting more and more interesting.
So why do you need to finish it ?
First I want to see some of your killer-armies.
There’s really no reason to visit you at the moment.
Guard some of your important chars and the deal is perfect !

As to getting me back for the next ten turns that won’t be possible due to I will always feel like that battle was well won over here thanks. I’d rather admit defeat if that’s the way it is… which it is not.
I’ve been completely bored with this game for quite some time, having conqured Mirk with my local allies many many turns ago and the Nwest hardly a fight even without one of our nations regular presence over there… I’ve even had to march all the way to Nighty with a few archers so my commanders weren’t piled up at the tavern.
The forum and some laughs at the grumpy one is all I have left perhaps but remember, if I had the mouth flappin for 7 turns, it was because some rubberlips was vibrating for the 7 before… I’d call it even but you call it as you see it
Also consider that at least we have been consistant during the period you speak, even when the banter was so obviously personal and discriminatory towards our sheep loving nation. Read back and consider from where I sit… your lot tend to ride waves of Forumophillia when only the going is good
Duns was and still remains a military decission in that Claus wouldn’t show which side of the fence he was on. T13 and he wants a couple more turns?
We took five turns to do the do which was 2 more than planned due to some human errors but that is still less damage than have him go against us on t 15 16 or 17 as he was leaning towards decission time.
To hang around that region until he had 7 super warlords instead of 4, another couple of major emmies and agents, upgraded more towns to MTs or cities and get your lot onside with those arties, with your advertised fab curse squad… our game would be a total mess in that area while you and nighty would be riding my arrzz…
consider the resource to fund that defence would have killed us anyway and I wouldn’t have got that one more laugh out of his royal nastiness t18 as we see Elvis left his last building this turn
In the meantime, We’ll supply you a bit more fight that I believe you deserve (in a game sense) and I can congratulate your team on devoloping better organisation as the game went on… don’t back off the banter if you cop a jab to the forehead though

How’s come you guys chose to horde your death on Easterlings and Harad but couldn’t muster some death for us in the west… when your allies out west were so visibily and openly attacked? I was expecting some more fight form you there and suspected we would do poorly after a couple of blunders… hope you put up the same fight around Mordor

Can’t see it ups to now, but I’m still living with the hope to see some Woodies, Artis and Elves near the gates of Mordor.
The plan to take our back-door with the Easterlings is more or less history.
