I recieve nothing from the WK. I receive nothing from the Noldo. So I get all huffy and demand only the Lady and the Voice communicate, them being reasonable “representatives” of their allegiances in a Middle Earth world. The Lady I’d been in communication with previously…sends nothing. The Voice posts here 2 times since then…sends nothing.
Now I get a Private Message from a FP, who had not communicated, asking “Is it true that you’re already DS?”

*It’s okay Brad. Due to team circumstances (which I wont enlarge upon here), I can absolutely guarantee that there are no designs on your real estate. Freep armies are close to you merely through the unhappy chance of having the WK lodged like a carbuncle on your flank. To avoid the hexes adjacent to your lands is unfeasible given the narrow corridor of good movement hexes, it really hands a major advantage to the WK if we were to arrange this, and also there’s the prohibitive cost of maintenance etc. It’s just a case really of waving them on their way as the freep march by.
No Free armies are vectoring toward your nations – they are all headed with their ski gear for some slope time in the mountains of your northern neighbor.

At least the news of the turn is: New WK player and a new Cardolani player…and they communicate as well as the last guys. Gonna be a long, cold winter up here I think…

FP advise they’re going to cake-walk into Mordor and win this game in less than 10 turns…I guess it’s their excuse for not talking… Now the DS say all is better than well, far from under pressure, they’re positioned to wreck havoc on exposed FP… Oh, for a slice of Truth amongst the Spin…

Well, Eot, Nor, NGo and SGo seem to have gone for a Hail Mary… all troops to all available passes asap, forget defence.
DS did some crazy opening moves, which… on reflection actually put us in a reasonable position to repel most of these FP moves…
When I say most… tha’s because we decided that rather than neutralise all armies… we would take a few pop centres instead and expand our territory into Eoplex and Rhovanion.
What will be the outcome… who knows… we’ll see who boasts loudest come the results…
However, you, having played RHU for many games, know full well that staying neutral in the north is as good as saying you are leaning towards the FP.
I reckon, though I can’t speak for the FP, that many people that play the game now don’t have massive amounts of spare time to woo neutrals. I know you have had a lot of emails from DS, just not inundation. Plump for the team that you feel least put off by and have some fun. Hopefully that’s the DS… wait too long and the decision won’t be yours to make.

You want to see all pdfs and xmls and get involved in decision making, discussions, arguements etc etc etc… join DS. we offer thrills and excitement, enough to make you pee your pants… well not really unless you have a weak bladder.
Yes, I know this is the common opinion. I’m not common and as a NEUTRAL, I’m keeping my opinion to myself this time round. And that’s uncommon for me…so stand the intel on it’s head and shake it for the nickel it’s worth.
