Two DS actually talking back. This is the one advantage of the neutrals joining the DS.
Why are you all of the sudden taking about dragons? Just because you flipped coin and now can recruit them? Up to now (turn 11) the DS had managed to recruit one, uno, un, ein, 1 dragon to fight. You better do something for the statistic
And while we play with your nonexsiting dragons, how did you DS like our Eagles (two), Hobbits (several), Woes (max three at one time), Ents (just watch out). As beasties go there is a clear FP advantage.
An Easterling Emmy wanders into the mountains to place nice new camps. What she finds though as she turns the corner of a mountain is dragon, and what a dragon! After convesing with said dragon it decides to join an Easterling army.
The same said Emmy exhausted falls asleep, though wakes up to find yet another dragon in the exact same place as the first one āwhat luckā she says.
How many dragons can this Emmy find in this one hex? Thats the answer iām waiting for
Hope you went into some mighty emmy action at the beginning of the game bc soon you wonāt be able to fund much. Oh as for dragonsā¦shrug kill my armies you are helping my economyā¦donāt you will still be helping my economy so whats it going to be boys help me or help me?
I thought Iād kind of let your army rot on the road rather than fry it. After all, ravens donāt like cooked meat much.
And yes, I did put 1 or 2 camps down, although I admit they look to be due a hammering from all the attention I am getting! Iāll just have to grab a few towns to make up for the loss!
Anyway, my agents, assuming I made any, would be about what now? Letās say there is a queue at the blacksmiths for short pointy things (no, not elven ears) that makes the Iraqui voting seem light! Weāve been keeping them under wraps (or off recruiting all those dragons) but if I am going to lose some camps itās time for them to earn their keep.
Well, time to go supervise knife throwing practice. (Dwarf tossing is so tiring on the arms!)
Ahhhh Dave you might want to ask the Cloud Lord about agent actionā¦giggle He has been having soooooooooooo much sucessā¦
By the way the army situation, thanks you allowed me to combine my two armies into oneā¦so now the eagles will pick your bones clean leaving nothing for the ravensā¦As for the towns you have well NG doesnāt mind spreading to the Northā¦I did warn the WK one day I would make it to his area. Your pop centers will make a nice jump off point.
(Dragon Lord Steve, not Dwarf Steve) what was it you did not like on Eleanor?
The haircut, the face? Or why did you give a challenge and an assasin comand to Celedhring to kill her? She is just a simple Emmiesar, now with a 2000 points combat artefact and a +25 mage artefact, that assasination command was a big mistake
Way to go, I thought I was the only one to do that mistake.
Okay, you send me 960.000 gold and I will buy 20.000 mithril.
Yes, 10.000 HC with Mithril weapons and armor, nothing can stop me, except maybe DS assassins
I have to say being Eo is not pleaseant this turn, but that is still nothing compared to being Rhudauer. I hope the money from the DunĀ“s helped. But how long can the Duns continue to send money?
If Rhudauer is not bankrupt allready how many turns will he last?? One?
And who is next WK or Dun, with the amount of FP troops in the region it is only a question of time
At least we will have an even score 11:11 eh?
What is the corsair doing two SS in a row? Or are his armies parking on his camps on purpose?
I have to say thanks to the 4 neutrals joining the DS, without you the game would have been boring, at least now the DS have started to fight back.
I think the number of Free troops in Dunland is about to be seriously reduced. Letās say by the end of next turn I am confidently predicting no living Free in my territory.
Of course, I could be wrong, but then I know how many dragons I have, and you do not. And yes, it is plural, so they can be in more than 1 place at a time. Tricky to arrange, but not impossible.
Still, as you say, at least the game is lively, if a little too intense in my part of the world for my liking!
Since when is a transfere of command of the army tricky? I never had that one fail, transfere of command is automatic. Oh you mean actually having a high level commander somewhere, no thatĀ“s not tricky either, just a MoveJoin, hmmm have to think why having dragons in two different armies is tricky.
Now that is a tricky , finding out why it is tricky!!!
Still up to now the dragons have been a minor pest, but yes here it comes:
Dave you are actually the best on your team with dragons, I actually seen a dragon in one of your combat reports. Maybe that has something to do with no camps in the misties, now how could the DS have missed that oportunity?
How are your allies doing Dave? Still kicking, already found out that sending money to Rhudauer was not worth it?
The problem with dragons is they go to the highest commander. I believe if said commander then leaves army/transfers it the dragon goes. (And I am not prepared to find out the hard way!) So, To get 2 dragons in 2 armies, you need to have the second commander overtake the 1st commander in rank before you recruit. Now try doing that in the middle of a war, esp when you cannot be certain how much a rank will improve. 1 too little and new dragon is off to pal up with his mate. (Of course, that could be how you get baby dragons!!!)
Of course, 2 dragons in 1 army is overkill, but better than no dragons. So where did my dragon equiped army go, east or west, and where did the 2nd dragon go??? Of course, by next turn the original dragon may have got fed up and gone home anyway, so you may never know if I had 1 or 2 , or even more.
Of course, if Rhuadur is shortly to be an ex, then Iāll just have to fund the WK, whitch (!) seems to be doing a pretty good job, after all he is still there!!! Then again, Rhuadur, king pop builder may just have the odd back up somewhere.
Sorry been busy in real life and starting a new game, only just managed to get orders in for the last turn.
Scratch 1 NM army & Barlin.
Scratch 1 Dw army. Hope he liked the pincer movement that I caught him by. Rhun is now clear for a while.
Lost another town to the FPās by emmy actionā¦oh wellā¦while your hitting me the Mordor nations are recovering, so all in all not that bad really and I can afford to lose another 2 or 3 towns.
About to destroy/capture another NM townā¦Has he got any starting pops left? Not for long
That really is a most impressive Elvish army at Imladris. However, I reckon that is about the only impressive Free play in the NW this turn. Looks like the Free will be down quite a few armies very shortly. Should match the Cardolan reduction in towns! Rumour has it his loyalties are so low we only need to sneeze at a town for it to change allegiance!!
Yes, I was unable to improve my second commanderās stats quick enough,. Unfortunately dragons love me so much they move to places my characters are at, and I get the encounters without even having to move! Convenient in some ways, but does restrict me on timing recruitment. Still, frazzled Cardy is a pretty sight. Next stop trampled Gondorians, but weāll do that the hard wayā¦maybe.
Still if this turn was bad for the DS in the NW, then I really hope things get worse, as your logic seems to be upside down!
By the way, how are your horsey friends doing? Could be interesting to see who bankrupts first, the Eo or Cardy, or is it the Northmen. What, no DS nation onthe list. Something must be seriously wrong!!!
Thanks Dave for calling my army impressive. It took me three turns of recruting. Have to do that again, three cities pumping out 500 troups per turn is great
First Imladris, now Cameth Brim, were to next?
As to who goes bankrupt next, I would put my money on Rhudauer (if he is not out already). Without the income of one city and one MT it must have been a strain to suport all those armies, but they are gone so that financial problem is solved. As to a bad turn for the DS, where are you guys hidding your armies in the NW? You cannot seriously think these few thousand troups will make us sweat?
By the way do you DS guys still have contact to Christopher? That is three SS in a row, not that we do not celebrate that as a game benefit, but we are worried about the player .
Dave, I am keeping my eye on you and doing what I am supposed to be doing while you are sending your armies (w or w/o dragons to me) Card, Arth and Noldo are regathering their forces so come my little friend come to me let me see what your dragons can doā¦
Ian, as for the relief the DS are getting perhaps you might want to ask the Dark Lās how many agents are at his capital this turn? My army commanders are looking for new homesā¦smile
