On behalf of the other Free peoples I can only apologise for the turn of events. I have no explanation for the actions of South Gondor … words, fail me. He is either a DS stooge, in which case his actions make some sence, or a complete moron. I would like to give him the benifit of the doubt and call him a DS stooge. He was special serviced last turn and only yesterday got in touch with me to explain he had had no funds and so couldn’t recieve the turn untill it was too late. He has been the largest thorn in our side regarding wooing you remaining neutrals and then does this to us. The term “Jesus wept” springs to mind. Ohhh well, the die are cast and so it comes to this.

The idea that SG is a DS mole is quite intrigueing. I suggest you guys take it up with Clint.
Until there is a formal explaination, the “Southern Confederation” will continue it’s course of repelling and destroying it’s self declared adversary.
Consider the leadership of SG unfit to rule, and will be dealt with accordingly.

I did not blame anyone. I said the only way his actions made any sense was if he was a DS stooge. I did not say he was a stooge I said I would like to give him the benefite of the doubt and call him a stooge rather than calling him a moron. His actions don’t make sense and his reasoning, as has so far been explained makes my earlier statement of “Jesus wept” seem more than apt. The guys that I have spoken to so far seem happy to play on for a bit, but with our second most powerful front line nation, now isolated fighting two “Neutrals” and unable (or unwilling) to aide his brothers in NGon I fear the writing is starting to appear on the wall. I for one am not completely happy with his explaination so far and will be going over it in detail with the neutrals once I know more. Just as an aside has anyone played with him previously or know if he has a reputation. (Chris Wiome is his name)

A side note:
Despite wether this game lasts 5 more or 50 turns; Would you guys be interested in setting up a 1 week grudge match? One that we all know who is on each side. Preferably gamers we are all familiar with and can count on their gamesmanship towards a stable, potentialy long and fun game.
This type of game should be a easier and less problem prone.
If so, we’d make 2 captains. One FP and one DS, and they build the list of the players for each side, then present Clint with all the players once full.
We’d have to discuss what to do with Neutrals. Maybe have them pre determined allegiance, Or to add spice, let the neutrals be open to anyone looking for a 1 week game. We’d be honor bound not to place “stooges”.

I’m just glad he allowed us to control the pass. I guess Mahrcared’s daughters was off doing the dishes as I stomped his face into the ground. Say by the way North and South Gondor you guys had better get those engineering schools going again as I can hardle see a single bridge standing So South Gondor has gone rogue and you guys cannot control him? Did he attack the Harad or just move through to get to the QA. I mean give a brother the benefit of the doubt.

Well we are in a humdinger of a game for sure. SGon goes insane and lashes out at the very people he should be wooing :eek: , the DS loose a ring, really guys you should be more careful with your toys. The Drag Queen is about to be driven from Mirkwood and poor old Witchypoo is about to loose another popcenter. (burn the witch burn him, burn him!) Will just have to wait and see where this one goes. Should be interesting to say the least.

Well it’s about time we got the banter going again since this game seems to have stabilized finally. We the free hereby declare Death and Taxes to the DS. The other thing you can be sure of is those of us remaining will fight this one to the bitter end.
Thors I hope we can make you and Mike bitterly regret going Dark. 
Prepare for a well co-ordinated onslaught, well once we get our heads around the new nations we have picked up. Oh and say hello to George our new pointy eared bloke I’m sure you will be hearing from him very soon.

Well from what Ive heard its alot more interesting than Gondor has been, atleast SG put up a fight otherwise this would have been very boring…as to the NW Ill wait to see what the reports have to say on the weather up there
