I would like to think the Woodmen was intentional, I’m a big fan of smacking WK walls. Cameth Brin…well, I almost feel bad about that one… I wonder which dragon down the pecking order would have still allowed you to take the place? Throkmaw, well, he’s one of the big three… Alas, what, 4 or 5 guys dead on the walls? Well, I’m empathetic…Rhudaur and the Witch Queen are quite elated, I assure you, but I feel your pain…

Well, on the one hand you hate to see games end early, on the other, we appreciate that the FP aren’t willing to drag out a hopeless endeavor. 4-1 Neutrals including the Big 2 isn’t necessarily fair. Considering the inroads the first neutrals have made before Harad entered the fray, well, it’s either cash it in or the One Ring. This is 2 in a row with 4 DS Noots, wonder if we’ll be in a 3rd (82…).

I’m not “blaming” the neutrals perse, but I can see why the FP wouldn’t push on in such a situation - yes - in a lot of ways we opened strong so that helps tips the decision making scales - give the FP some better early success and maybe more of them would slog on hoping for some decisive kills to see what could happen. There is an attraction to winning against such odds… But my other point is that 2 in a row have 4 DS noots… I’m a FP in 82, let’s see if I get to suffer the fate this time… It is just soo much more attractive to go DS for all the neuts, IMO.
As I posted on our boards, neutrals or not, the DS played a solid game. We were beat fair and square. The fact they were able to bully Harad was the game tipper.

If there is any real blame it goes to the initial SG player. The fact that he disbanded 2 of his at start armies to try “something new”, NG was overwhelmed very early on. And after the happened my dwarves had to fight to Morannon (which we took) through several armies of the pass and I didn’t have enough forces to exploit the breach into mordor.
Also, to Whit the Easterling, well played. You have become a much better player since game 67. Your attacks in Rhovanian were overwhelming. Good job.

Sorry, “blame” was a bad choice of word on my part. “Credit” is probably a better choice. What I was saying was don’t credit the four neutrals going DS with the entire victory. As said above, the DS played a very cohesive, synchronized game. 14-9 is ok if the 14 is unorganized, but that was clearly not the case here.
