Pretty one sided discourse here, all FP. Was the turn that lopsided as well? Has the Holy Avenger taken a vow of silence? Gixxer is usually on by now as well and generally upbeat on his teams success. What does this silence portend? Were the Free guilty of assuming as indicated by the Holy Avenger, and if so have they begun to take the DS seriously again? The recent postings indicate key characters of the DS are “resting” and their prize possessions are now serving new masters. Real estate seems to be changing hands but is it a one way exchange of property? How about it DS what is your assessment of the turn and situation?
Just for the record I am not a player in this game. I started in the game but real life issues needed my attention. I am however still following the game and am interested in what is happening however.

It was a lucky turn for the Freps, but I don’t worry too much.

We only got one minor toy while the Freps got a curse-toy.

Sorry the posting got so hard on your nerve. I only meant to ask if the turn was as one sided as the Free were posting about. You explained the reason for the quiet, however the rude name calling was a bit over the top. After all I thought your motto was “Have Fun”; the name calling does not make it appear that you are having that much fun.
From the posting of the Free it appears that they don’t consider the results of the turn so much as lucky happenstance. They speak of Major Towns changing hands, well into their hands they don’t mention your victories or success stories and that is the reason I asked my question for your views as what happened.
Gixx, there’s nothing personnal going on here. I know much of what the Free feel is happening I was just looking for your side of the story. Sorry it offended you so much as to elicit an outburst.

Having said that, Celedhring is indeedie, dead. It’s upsetting and Llachglin (sp?) will miss those toys, but c’est la vie. The FP tried a fancy fake with no follow up. You know how these things work, time and momentum, etc…
Flipping two MT in Mordor in one turn, killing some DS characters and taking their artefacts in Mordor is a fancy fake?
If that is your idea of a fake, what is a real move? Kicking out another Nation? Haven´t you lost enough nations already? When is it a bug hunt and when is it still a challenging game.

I’m not interested in a conflict with Gix; never was. I was just seeking the DS view. I hope everyone continues to enjoy the game. These are two good teams and the give and take shows that.

My first check-in to the thread. I sat out this game due to personal issues but have joined up a couple turns back. (You face the tag team of Brad and Darrel. )
The seasons have been kind to the DS so far but things are getting chilly and the misty camps have been evaporating (which does wonders for helping nudge loyalties down across the board). This should put some strain on the situation. I think the FP are also out-stealing the DS…this just doesn’t bode well.
I currently don’t see the DS winning this one but I like some of their overall strategies. It seems they probably had execution and order problems which are always the bane of team existence. I haven’t followed the past that closely…just not enough energy to go back through and go over every single turn like I normally do.
