WHEN… I can’t say, but SOMEDAY it will happen. Probably shortly after Canada conquers the Western Hemisphere… I don’t think it’ll happen before then though.
As for the “NFL”… until you guys adopt some serious rules (see the “CFL”) I don’t think I could even bother looking at the teams. It would be like watching kids soccer instead of the REAL thing… 4 downs, narrow fields and good weather. Bah! You call that a SPORT! ahhhh now wait…NASCAR is an american ‘sport’ and i dont like it but if NASCAR decided to change their rules and have all drivers turn AROUND every 10 laps and go back in the other direction…now that would be really cool to watch…it may not be a sport but if would still be fun.

lets start this game over and all drop or the free can concede if the DS need to have something to print off that says they “won”… lets all just sign up for game 22. this is ridiculous. not blaming anyone but the free are way behing the 8 ball now. I really think it is an over all symptom of open games in general. The DS have all of our first turns and plans for turn 2.
My email to Clint and Rob etc etc to drop this game will be send post haste. since i do have one more FREE turn i will still post my orders but i am still dropping and hope all others will do the same. there is so much info the DS can glean from our turn reports just from turn one that would absolutely crush us.

I assure you we never knew about it or saw it. My teammates have been way too busy having fun telling me how to play the CL nation to have had any time to be hunting on Yahoo for misconfigured forums.
As far as I know, membership can be given, refused, taken away and just edited in any way possible by anone with admin level membership. Just sort it out, it’s not that hard.
You should also have a record of who was there, and who wasn’t- unless Im mixing up forum management systems… hmmm… surely you can tell if one of us was peeking right?
Here- Ill equalise it for you- my plan is to single-handedly eliminate NG by turn 5. SG by turn 7. Now you know my plans. Just TRY and kick my *ss!
Honest- if you have proof that one of us was peeking, then I guess I would support you on dropping and re-forming BUT I haven’t heard anything about your plans… Im WAY too busy being told what to do as well…
DS team doesn’t sound too thrilled with their composition.
As for the upcoming turns, lets submit as expected, I think this is all a misunderstanding. What I think happened is due to the other thread (“hypothetical, etc”) John Seals went out to check for open forums as a public service of goodwill to see if anything was open. He then notified William, who thought Seals was in game 21. He is NOT. So I think everything here is fine to proceed.
NOTE: I have NOT talked to either William or John on this. But I’m taking an educated guess, since the DS seem to not know what William is talking about. If this is incorrect, apologies to all
Over the years I have come to the belief that wargames can serve as a window into the souls of the players. From how a person plays you can deduce quite a bit about his character, personality, thought patterns, strengths and weaknesses. That is why a combination of warrior tenacity and unprincipled cunning can, sometimes, defeat intellectually superior opponents.
Here is an example of what I mean: Suppose you think a player is sensitive to ‘cheating’ or ‘unfairmess’… Then all you would have to do is plant the beleif that he was being cheated. He would lose heart and the will to resist.
It Is My Understanding That Just Because There Was Open Access To Our Yahoo Group, There Is No Proof That Any Advantage Was Had By Any Ds Players. If So, They Learned Of Some Early Plans, But Is This Significant? I Dont Believe So. Lets Just Move On From Here.

Prevent your users ‘shouting’ in their thread titles/message text by changing all-uppercase titles to capitalization only on the first letters of some words.
