New poll thoughts on 1 banker nation

The FtF as a research lab… this idea is so good it could be mine

I am greatly looking forward to see your conclusions…

No the Aussie team has never used the one banker strategy, but we do have a very reliable means of driving the price higher for individual comodities. We do regular price spikes to keep our economies ticking along.

Players should not have a voice in this matter… They were not there when 1650 was designed created and programed… It’s seems to me that these numbers by players only reflect thier needs when playing DS in 1650 and possibly 2950 to not come up with effective economic strategies.
It also leads to why so many 1650 players fail so miserably in 1000… Not from poor setups from poor economics…
I am finished with trying to teach effective economics in these games and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future…

You’re information is obviously crap. Team aussie never has and never will use the OBN. We always play reverse matches with the teams we take on.
We pay very carefull attention to the market and economies playing either freep or ds with opposite intentions ie: drive down Vs drive up.
We also exchange pdf’s with our opponents if they agree…so…

don’t believe everything you hear. There are many bitter losers out there.
I’m sure mr muller still has the pdf’s from our games vs them. We all had great fun in both games. We messed with the market and caused some ‘funny’ results but nothing anywhere near dubiously legal

You have always strived for game balance Clint. Does it matter what we think. Almost all of us relent to your opinion in such matters. This is glaringly a game loophole that needs closing. If it cant be through coding then a house rule is needed. In the past I have disagreed with you but through experience I have seen that you are only thinking of what is best for the game. You open up issues to players to get opinions but really do you need them. MEPBM is your baby and I sincerely doubt you would propose an action that would threaten the stablility of the game. Economics can win a game and this is such one strategy gives a huge advantage in the short term for the alliance that completes it 1st. So to give my opinion, even if the issue has been talked to death and back, is to ban it. But as I have stated I a m more than happy to trust Clints judgement on the matter.
