I’ve signed up for this game, I couldn’t resist.
I hadn’t realised that the Great Years format included basic changes to the 2950 format. I’ve looked at the changes and, it seems to me, that they greatly favour the Free nations. Was that intentional? Am I misunderstanding?
Also, there’s usually some consultation for new formats. Did I just miss it?
I assume the DS possibly win 2950 more often.

You underestimate the 15K starting gold blanket for all DS. Dunno tho if it’s enough for an all neutral game. That’s up to people with bids now. There’s no reason to be concerned about the usual balance in an all neutral game.

15K starting blanket for DS isnt great. They are still going to br struggling for gold early on. Might be manageable in an all neutral game but if a team game starts in great years the FP will win quite easily I think. (Especially if starting in Winter)
