Do you mean for players who mail their turns in or for players who only have time to play 1 2-week game at a time?
Barring a grudge team needing time to meet face to face (where possible...), I don't see the argument. Two 2-week games costs the same, takes as much time per day, and adds in the frustration of losing interest and forgetting things inbetween turns - for now Two games! 2 poor games instead of one good game!
