1650 Game 86

Hidden agenda…? Typical of the “Free Peoples”, no different than our elections this year… Arise Kingdoms of Man~! Unite against the Elven conspirators~! Enion, Ovatha, Haruth and Angamaite~! Vote for true power and glory in YOUR names~! Sauron rewards his allies - the Noldor conspire against them. The choice is clear.

Blind Sorceror - from whom nothing is “hidden”…

Hello from Dun

At the moment we have some trouble with our mail adress and we can’t communicate with all Fp and Ds.

Don’t worry, turns will be send normally and i haven’t change my position.

Regards

Enion

Men of the West,

I feel your fear from the hights of Carn Dum. Your weak attacks into Angmar and Rhudaur have failed, now come the full force of our wrath. With dragons and spys of Mordor now in our hands and no part of our realms diminished your time of ruin is at hand. Soon even the Noldo will know our hate and feel our steel. Make peace with all that you hold dear. Death is upon you.

Looks like the freeps need some flu shots:D

What is up with the Easterlings and Harad?

Well if you guys don’t want to interact why play a neutral?

Looks like the Freeps will be kicked out of the East very soon. You guys are down to two major forces and one is going out this turn for sure. :bash:

We call this game now. Are you all signed up for the next one? Demand a 1 weeker - all this waiting for the inevitable is just stupid…

What’s the money line for the Free People?

A neutral when I took the position over…a neutral I will stay until provoked in the short term…convince me in the long term…

Sit Reps appreciated from one and all…

Well that explains a lot about the aloof Easterlings.

Greetings new Lords, hope you do more then the last guy.

I almost forgot to inquire, so what was all that talk about about sacking my capitol? Looks like the nations of the Eothraim and North gondor need some forks because you noobs have been served. Feel free to send more forces to us, we love kicking your elf loving, dwarf beard triming, hobbit huggin arses all over our gates. Gunna burn my capitol, better ease up on the hobbit shyt. Next thing you will be saying is you can remove the Dragon Lord from Mirkwood.

I hope when the time comes you fellows don’t waste everyones time and just quit:cool:

Why would anyone quit after 4 turns? Unless you got smoked and were neutral? Like the Duns could be easily by Rhudaur…other than that…

I don’t want to take up a position for a turn and then have to sign up again…jeez…

I’ve heard rants about the will to fight in the past. I actually feel bad that I’m a DS, having ranted myself that it’s, frankly, not a fair game in this day and age. More anecdotal evidence for me…

With Harad sitting down there inflating the Market, the Easterlings just having taken over the position and needing time to get a handle on this game, the Dunlendings obfuscating his plans to join the DS, and the Corsairs plan to stay neutral - this game is probably over. I think that unless we gained two - ready to fight - neutrals in the next two turns, then it is just a matter of time (and not much of that). The DS’ setups were obviously strong, they have played very well, Rhuduar went DS right away and none of the other neutrals are interested in joining us right away (the offers we have made are absurdly generous).

We’ve made some errors that have been exploited. The screwed up economic code is being manipulated and already appears to be out of our control (our balances are low, we are selling and the market rises or maintains levels). I’m really not sure what we can do to turn this around unless a couple neutrals join us immediately.

It appears the Dun once again have internet problems <cough>. I sent him an Email a couple of days ago asking what else it would take to join our cause and I got <cricket> <cricket>

The Harad won’t communicate with us - we have sent him in-game diplomacy with no response. What we do see is the market starting to go up in spite of all of the FP keeping balances low and selling every turn. Let’s see - the Harad disbanded all armies on turn 1 - I wonder what he is doing…

The previous Easterling dropped - I guess the stress was too much for him.

Looks grim to me :frowning:

Have any FP sent diplo’s via MEGames to the target nations in question here? If you have in the past, please consider new ones with these ultimatums. We’re generating considerable email chatter now about games being “decided” on Turn 4, very little of which is positive or inspiring - let’s S or get off the P, eh?

Cheers,

Blind Brad

Yes - the FP have sent in-game diplo and we get nothing. It is painfully obvious that the Harad came into the game with his strategy already planned out - drive the market up and go DS.

Well, one is allowed to jump to one’s own conclusions, but as a DS who’s heard less than yourselves from the Harad, well, it’s hard to use words like “obvious”…

Duns still claiming email problems, replied with an apology to myself and then hasn’t replied yet to my reply. Maybe his translation software is infected with a virus…

You are right. We had a Harad player drive the market up in a previous game then join the FP…

I’m fairly certain Harad isn’t doing anything on purpose…
The crazy thing about Harad is that he can get Special Serviced and still build up
