2-1 Let the game end

I'm currently in game 41 where on T11 the opposing
team's captain
told our team and ME Games that their team was folding
and would hand us the victory.

One question: given this information, did you turn in orders for
the turn in question?

Maybe the player told his team "captain" (there is, by the way,
no such animal in MEPBM) what he and his mates could do with
their proposition of handing you victory. After all, 11 turns is
not very far into a game, is it...? Are you so good that you
could wipe out the enemy in ten turns?

I suspect there is more to this than we're being told.

For the record: I am against any form of arbitrary ending to
games, such as the 2:1 ratio. For a long list of reasons.

This is a NKA game. Each team voted a "captain". We were good, but
not that good to wipe out the entire team. We took 3 of their
capitals and were ahead every where on the map. It was just a
matter of time before we won. Their team to the honorable thing and
dropped...well, all but one of em.

I suspect there is more to this than we're being told.

Nope, I'm quite clear on the situation.

For the record, we took 5 of their capitals...knocking 4 of those
nations out of the game.

Three players out of the team of 12 turned in orders (myself not
included). But that point is moot since Clint indicated that the
_only_ thing preventing game termination was the orders submitted by a
single player on the conceding team.

*** Nothing missed from what I can tell.
