2-1 Let the game end

Also
this being 4th age, the ring option isn't available. It's

a pretty

good scenario, but like you've pointed out, easier to be taken
advantage of.

In my one and only Fourth Age game, I was eliminated (and I
mean *eliminated*, no pop centres, no characters, nuffink!) on
turn four. I think it had a lot to do with being in the centre of
a ring of four enemy nations...

The set up is such a big flaw in the scenario that I've never
felt the desire to play it again.

Try a team game with assigned regions. Without the risk of ending up
surrounded by enemies, you might find the flexible nation design
refreshing.
