280 Order... another naval question!

Hi,

It really depends on what someone is willing to pay for them.. Usually I
agree to a swaps for the benefit of the Alliance.

Swap? Swap? If you're on a team (i.e. not a neutral) you should be willing to give your
allies whatever they need. OK, in due course no doubt the favour will be returned, but I
really wouldnt recommend being mercenary about it. Reminds me of a Quiet Avenger player
way back in the early days. I was playing myfirst ever DS position (as the CL) and
received a letter from the QA on turn 2 saying that he would share map information with
me if I sent 30,000 gold and may even consider allying with me later on!

It's been said before, and no doubt will be said again and again. This is a team game, if
you're not prepared to work as a cog in a larger wheel, don't play MEPBM!

I think that this is the weakness and the strength of the game. Other games
are better for playing what I call "against the computer". Fourth Age is
the best game for enjoying the individualistic aspect of the game. 1650 the
most team orientated.
