Just remember that 2950 is more a Character game and you’ll be fine. I realize it may be hard to play the Cloud Lord as if it were a Character Nation, but…

You know, nobody ever acknowledges the possibility of the 5 Neutrals, through superior teamwork, diplomacy and downright gumption, successfully wiping out all 20 pre-aligned nations and ending this whole bickering-for-control thing once and for all…

I never thought about the one disadvantage to the Neutrals; almost no authoritative information about what’s going on in other parts of the world.

It’s kind of exciting, in a way. At risk of sounding a bit like Ed Mills (whcih I do anyway so nothing to be done about it really), this makes me wish for the days when the two teams weren’t so in-touch due to the high availability of the Internet.

As the new leader of the Dunlendings*, I wish to welcome ambassadors from all nations, regardless of of race, creed, or ethical orientation. PM me if you wish to establish contact.

Also, in 4 turns, the Dunlending Temporary Agent Agency will be opening for business. If your nation is low on sneaky backstabbers, consider hiring the honorable sneaky backstabbers of the Dunlendings to do your dirty work. Reasonable rates. Discounts for non-profit organizations.
