For those blokes out there who are just fine with the current state of
k/a look at some of the winning nations. How seldom has the Eothraim
placed, 3-4 times most. Why is that. How about this all to familliar
situation. Jesus Crist Dog Lord challenge machine steps out of
Morannon with 400 chumps. Gisulf and Athaulf of the Eothraim intercept
him with 2 forces that would make JC blush. Listen to the following
discussion between Gisulf and Athaulf.....
1,2,3 rock paper scisors. Damn Athaulf paper does cover rock. Oh well
I guess I will never see you will I. After we both tuck our heads
between our legs to avoid JC challenge on one of us, one of us will
stay and kick the crap out of JC. Athaulf, you will run away and I
will decimate these 400 chumps maybe losing 100 guys. Then next week
some godlike killing machine like Ji Indur will show up and kill me
since I can't leave. A surely will miss the Eothraim derby. END.

if the army did not go home after Gisulf death, the evil would have to
learn true tactics.

but gisulf is still dead. I would have felt that you
are objecting to gisulf having to RC, so he doesn't
have a spare order to move away. He thus gets
knifed/cursed in the next turn.

Bad Eothraim tactics -- they need to have the armies meet and merge in a
hex outside of Morannon and unlikely to be run over by a DS army,A and
then show up at Morannon with all the cav and 3-4 commanders in one
army. 400 chumps get overrun, and challenge doesn't matter since
a subcommander takes over and leads the army on to victory.

I can't stop laughing -- you have it so right and so funny.
Though remember that if the army _didn't_ go away
after Gisulf's death, the Eothraim would go bankrupt
before they got another commander there to take over;
and Ji Indur would just be waiting to ambush him anyway.
