2nd Edition of mepbm: automate shipment orders?

It sounds interesting to me, like the Head bureaucrat idea which also gave free admin orders, but we should remember that "Free" orders still cost the same in terms of Harlequins time and effort as any other. If throwing in extra orders lengthens the turnaround or adds to turn costs, I dont think it would be worth it for me.

kurgan ? As from the highlander movie ?

i saw the latest movie - it was rated 'poorly', but I
didn't mind paying $13 AUD to see it. I liked the main
badie, and the flashbacks didn't confuse me. But I
would have preferred the asian bloke to have a bigger
role before he lost his head. A badie with
intelligence is always a nice change.

H4 also had a better ending. H5 could be cranked out
without much problems.

but back to your comment ....increasing characters up
to 22 doesn't fix anything. We will still want 22
characters to go out and commit death and mayhem to
the enemy, ie we still worry about having no one at
home doing the crappy orders.

thanks

It sounds interesting to me, like the Head bureaucrat idea which

also gave

free admin orders, but we should remember that "Free" orders still

cost the

same in terms of Harlequins time and effort as any other. If

think it

would be worth it for me.

It would benefit newer players; they both waste a lot of orders
shuffling stuff around and frequently don't recognize the importance
of capital flunkies. That's why I don't like killing off all of the
lame starting characters; might as well keep around someone cheap to
do the grunt work. It would also reduce the impact of character
assaults on capitals. I don't know what impact it would have on costs
and turnaround...

cheers,

Marc

I find it interesting because it adds a new option, namely allowing
nations to run some minimal maintenance orders even with assassins.
It could also make it easier to equip soldiers and hire cavalry, which
would make the military side more flexible. Not sure about sell
orders, but it could do some real good for shipment orders. You still
have to do the logistics.

My rule for Highlander. There is only one.
