The bit i like best is that the states were formed by people we
kicked out for being religious zealots, who then went on a genocidal
rampage of the indigenous population, imported slaves [with european
help], turned on each other, before realising that there was more
profit in swamping the world in the banality of consumerism!

Actually, if you want to be technical about it, half of them were zealots (Massachusetts), while the other half were some of your best coming to America to make their fortune (Virginia). The zealots probably got along better with the natives than the True Englishmen, who knew they were the best in the first place.

In the end, the zealots turned into bitter mercantilists, while the Englishmen got religion and kept it. Go figure!

Dont forget America's fountain's of youth and wisdom! It is utterly amazing
how just drinking the water over here imparts one with the knowledge of what
os best for the rest of the world. :o)
