Your welcome package had a ribbon that clashed with the bow. Sorry, if you can’t wrap you can’t accessorize and Rhudaur simply has to look good. As for the “death to rhudaur” bit, you’re colour blind as well as deluded. See you in the afterlife - don’t wait up…
Bah. I edited this post because I was bored with it. Not up to my usual standards. I did include some snide remark regarding FP team play (which we all know is shyte…) due to the Noldo celebrating the death of a Woodman character, how it’s likely one of his VC’s, and how we all know what kind of “team players” they usually turn out to be, but I won’t deign to repeat such tripe now.
Otherwise, I suppose I could ramble on and utter threats against the Gondorian fools daring to attack the Ithil Pass (Rens Road, if you need to know).
I could mutter about the lack of FP threatening the North Gate.
I could ask the Noldo and the Dwarves how long they think they’ll take to “eliminate” Rhudaur (ha!) and take bets.
I could also ask Cardolan exactly why he bothers, he’s only going to die slowly and torturously. I guess pain is proof of existence and better than no feeling at all.
Or. to be fair, I could wonder at the FP braintrust that managed to crash the market on us so quickly…oh, sorry, that didn’t happen. Okay, then I could congratulate the FP for their successful assault against…um, er, sorry, ixnay on that too.
Sigh. I guess I have to be [yawn] bored with enemy indifference at their own impending demise. Shame, it’s always more fun to kill someone who’s fighting for survival (failing, but fighting…). I suppose squishing ants has it’s satisfaction too.
The Freeps have had some successful moves this turn with their armies but the Dragons are coming. The Northman will be paying in blood sooner than they think. Next turn should be very interesting!
Is frustration seting in with DS… I believe Corsairs and Harad should take note…
DS have done nothing in Rhun or Rhovonian but lose armies and characters…
DS have failed to Kill Eo com’s or thier starting HC and all DS starting Cav has been destroyed as well and BS starting armies…
So the only Blood I will see is DS agents. Maybe they will net thier first Kill trying to stop NM? So you know they will be too far away to do anything to Harad and Corsairs if you chose to go FP… Easterlings and Rhuadar are DS .
I must say I have met the Easterlings and found them inept in thier ability to hold the Backdoor of Mordor… I am pushing IN! Stop me if you can!:bash:
Hey Whitchypoo, I have said it before and I will say it again. If the Wk is to survive in the NW he must recruit at every available pop, every turn. I mean really what was the point of Hiring at 1806 this turn. I will still take it and you will have wasted 5K. He would have been better off bugging out to say 1906 (Early Bank money the only reason this is upgraded!) and hire there. If I hadn’t had such a crappy setup (and not messed up some movement orders  ) I would have you on toast by now.
Getting personal again Brad? Or am I mistaken?
I was not celebrating the death of a Woodie Character, I only said the game was getting interesting…and now you seem to suggest I’m not a team player?
We have played before on the same team in the past, and you never mentioned my team play as being poor
Your making assumptions. Bad ones! The freep teamplay is fine
Some people laugh, other’s take offense. So I challenge you all to think deeply - can I be funny and offensive at the same time? Or, is the individual’s interpretation of my frivolous writings the culprit? I am neither, it is in the listener to choose for him/her self. I accept responsibility for neither laughter nor slight. Now, have a fun and safe new years and put your emotional energy into personal relationships that mean something positive and empowering in the Real World everyone.
Cheers,
Brad LR
ps - my neutrals are saints, your neutrals are evil treacherous backstabbers…!
[QUOTE=VEO;31664] I challenge you all to think deeply - can I be funny and offensive at the same time?
I’m incapable of deep thot!.. at least that’s what my wife tells me. I’m good at that offensive thing tho How bout we meet in a short while at Barad Ungol and discuss our thots? Maybe make a trade or 2. I’ll let u have 2 of my fine upstanding leaders to wallow over your minions and take BU as payment
PS Yes I am sure you would have loved to threaten 1806, and no I am not sorry I didnt give you the pleasure. Well worth the 5k to watch your men mourning their comrades-in-arms…
The only reason I didn’t threaten it was I didn’t have a good enough commander there to be sure it would come off. I had two armies there, I could have done it bar the Sucky start I had. It’s O.K don’t feel too put out for me I will Threaten 2006 to make up for it.
Lord Argeleb II walked slowly into the war chamber, seemingly deep in thought, his cloak stained from travel, his plain unadorned chain mail barely visiable under his travelling clothes. He poures a cup of steaming mead from a large pot simmering away in the corner and moves to the head of the table.
A large plain chair sits there ready to receive his powerfull frame. Sitting those around the table seat themselves also.
He looks up towards those sat around him, his eyes like mountain glaciers cold, glinting. Wise eyes, eyes of one that the blood of Numenor runs true in. " What news from the front my Dukes?" asks Argeleb, his voice rich, deep powerfull, a voice commanding of respect. " It goes well my Lord" replies of of his young Dukes, “Cargash has been garrisoned and the outlying towns subdued. Follow up forces are moving out as we speak”. The distant sound of strong voices issuing final orders can just be heard over the din of marching feet and singing voices.
Argeleb smiles but is a smile with a trace of sadness. He felt proud of his men, he had been down joking with them that morning. Breaking the nightly fast with his troops has always been one of his favorite times. Getting to know the common soldiers, those that went and did his will on far battlefields. The sadness comming from the knowledge that many of these fine men would never return.
" Good, I have issed the commanders their orders, they know what is required of them." he says safe in the knowledge that good men are leading his troops. " What of the Northern expedition?" he asks concerned. The face of the young Duke became slightly pained. “He is back my Lord, he says he found it but it has gone missing? He was very distressed my Lord” Argeleb gives a wry smile. " He is fortunate that he is in a position to be distressed, the Agents of the Dark Lord have obviously interfeared here. He was fortunate to make it back with his life intact." Frowning he looks at his maps.
" Hmm it will be put to use soon enough. Get a warning out to those in the front. Keep mobile, try to find less obvious routes to the battles." It was another concern to add to the growing list. “Now what to do about this navy pestering Cardolan.” His men gather round him as he begins to issue orders… To be continued!
Have the DS all decided to drop, as they don’t like winter and losing characters?
Are they so confident, knowing they are about to recruit Harad and Corsairs, and win easily with a 4-1 split of neutrals?
Or maybe they are just stunned into silence, hoping that the free don’t break into Mordor so early, with the WitchKing being kicked out of the NW and the Dragon Lord capitol being burnt to a cinder!
Griffy… our constant posting seemed to be demoralising you… we are having too much fun to want to grind you up into little pieces just yet… wait til the next offensive strikes you and then you’ll be sorry you complained at our relative silence :_)
