Well, I am happy to say that the state of the Witch Union looks a lot better at turn 15 then it did at turn 10. I am a little put out by the lack of success on curses, first Argeleb, then Daonghlas survive by the skin of their teeth. Better luck for Murazor next turn, I am sure.
Tsk, Tsk, such an empty threat. I will be around quite a bit longer than the new year. (Now if I could just get my fellow Nazgul to spell correctly, we would have a few more dead freep commanders to brag about!)
OK, OK, so you outnumber us. That should come as no surprise. I personally am guilty of some spectacularly bad play, (For example, a commander wandering like Moses for 40 days in the Southwest, before finally threatening away a Corsair major Town) My comrades in the NW, however, are looking pretty strong right about now.
A couple of us have also had some incredibly bad luck (Commanders killed in battles that they won, no less!) Home field advantage seems to be less important than it used to be. Nevertheless, we are still here, like that big pimple on the ass that you cannot get rid of. (That isn’t a pretty simile, but I am sure you understand.)
All that being said, and despite the frustration, I am enjoying this game. The results of this turn should be a turning point in the game. Will you be able to press your advantage, or will we stem the tide, and start the ebb tide flowing?
Yes the next turn could be fun but we have to wait an extra week. Nice to know we aren’t the only ones who make mistakes but that’s part of the game. Most of our mistakes aren’t actual mistakes but more like “why didn’t the DS do that? Then my plan would have worked!”
Anyway 12 v 10 and Harad is looking in bad shape.
Still the game has been fun so far and a long way from over I think.
