You know, all this talk of victory points, victory
conditions, player ratings, punishing dropouts (and so on
endlessly) has really taken away any desire I had of playing
the game again. I was away for a few days. When I got back I
had over 400 emails, a good half of which came from this
list, complete with a full batch of name calling, snide
remarks, general whingeing, you name it.
You might want to think what effect you could be having on
people who are looking at this list to see if MEPBM is a game
they might like. If I came in on it cold, I'd run a mile...
Gavin has a good point here. This has begun to get out of hand. Quite
frankly I haven't even bothered yet to read the ratings idea but this
discussion has basically meant that I haven't even felt like reading them.

Wishing he could get onto the Forum to have banter with the Game 143 FP and
DS.

We're talking about the game, possible changes to it,
and ramifications thereof. It's an egroup for players
to discuss these, and other issues. It's not a marketting
strategy.
