You can also cut and paste within Adobe Reader v 3.0.
Go to the Tools Menu and select 'Select Graphics'. The cursor will change to
cross hairs. Draw a box around the area of interest i.e. click left mouse
button in top left corner and hold button down. Move the mouse to bottom
right corner and release. A dashed line box will appear around your selected
area. Then, place the cursor within the box and right click, select copy.
The image is now in the buffer. Open up any package and paste it in.
I've tried it with Word and it works fine.
