Agent action on agent

Hello, I’m fairly new to this game. I played a total of 28 turns in the 1650 Scenario and counting.

Is it true that when attempting to kidnap/assassinate or steal from an agent that you must consider that the agent is protecting himself? As if he was implicitely doing order 610 on himself?

I’ve never heard that, or taken it into consideration. But, agents are MUCH more likely to escape, so I wouldn’t attempt to kidnap.

No,
Thecharacter is not considered to be doing a guard character on themself. The main consideration is the actual rank of the target agent(victim). The higher the skill rank, the harder it is to kidnap/assassinate him/her. Thus it is harder to kill a 70 agent than a 30 agent.

So, is the susceptibility of being killed/kidnapped based on Challenge rank? Ie is it harder to kill a 70 agent or a 70 mage…?

Brad

Yes that was my next question.

Fred

Also, how much do you risk getting injured when assassinating/kidnapping a 70 mage/agent? Do you risk 70 health, random injury or death if they thwart the attempt?

Agents cannot protect/guard themselves. themselves they are just as vulnerable to assassination as any other character. The target agent does not foil the attempt on him and wound kill the attacking agent anymore than an emissary or mage would. A 70 point agent has the same vulnerability to agent attack as would a 70 point emissary or mage.
