Am I cheat....?

Clint

you say cheating/whatever is the second biggest reason for people leaving
the game for good. Do you have a top five?

** Not specifically but (roughly):

1) Time/ Energy - run out of (70%) (Mostly time include new babies, job promotion)
2) Cheating (10%)
3) Not the game for them (new players very high 70% for them) (10%)
4) Unpleasant allies (5%)
5) Cost (5%) (Unemployment biggest factor here)
6) Disagreement with rules... (5%)
7) Miscellaneous that I don't recall at present but I am sure they will come back to us.

8) When we takeover companies we lose some players. Allsorts we lost around 6 games, DGE around 4 games - it took 3-9months to replace this (ie bring back up to the same game numbers) and then the next year raised by a similar factor.

105% for you...

Personally I find the idea of playing a gunboat game quite attractive but
only at certain times.

When I have played on a winning team most of the time is taken up through
communication. However playing only a couple of games at a time might be
slightly boring for some people but they dont have the excess time needed
for the communcation that would be involved if they were to be recognised as
a good team player. In this instance the Gunboat game is fine alternative
giving them another game but taking away the communcation factor allowing
them to play as they wish. Although I guess more time could be involved in
the vast amount of info you need collate on your own <grin>.

Greetings list

A couple of days ago I had an idea to make game start a bit more
exiting....

I thought that every nation may move one (or even more?) of his free
characters to anyone of his popcentres where he likes him to be....

As the starting locations are the same for every game, you know where an
enemy could raise an army or where he could not.. etc.

Its not a big changeing but I think it could make game start more
interesting

Stefan

Could work.
