AM latest version

Hello Everyone

We are delighted to announce the release of Automagic 2003a. This new
version contains many new features and is more robust than the previous
version. We strongly encourage you to visit the web site to download it.

Choose the Automagic tab on the left.

Features:

* Turn Orders Version Numbers
* Scenario Import Module spliced into the system (fills in game data for
you)
* Accepts economic data from XML
* Better explanation of the warning on the Send sheet for errors in the turn
* Bugs fixed: too many characters; no armies; several punctuation issues
illegal zeroes; incorrect spell types; other obscure order combos
* Look and Feel improved
* Army Calculator improved

The changes:
* Capital data has been rearranged in the XML, so that older AM will no
longer successfully import capital data in certain situations.

Thanks
Clint

Is this enabled in the XML files which arrives? Wondering because I
dloaded the new version, and imported my turn files, and none of
them added any economic data into it.

I do love the new BattleCalc tho. Very nice indeed.

And what of MEOW, is there a deadline for the end of Beta testing?

** We'll keep you posted as news comes up... :slight_smile: Basically the work rates for the two guys working on AM and MEOW are different. We've tested it lots and found lots of bugs (as with AM) and fixed them, now found some more and am in the process of fixing those.

It works if you've had a turn processed yesterday!

<Economy><Nation><ArmyMaint>13260</ArmyMaint><PopMaint>5500</PopMaint>
<CharMaint>17940</CharMaint><TotalMaint>36700</TotalMaint><TaxRate>42<
/TaxRate><Revenue>36630</Revenue><Surplus>-
70</Surplus><Reserve>0</Reserve><TaxBase>25</TaxBase></Nation><Market>
<Product
type="le"><BuyPrice>2</BuyPrice><SellPrice>1</SellPrice><MarketAvail>3
2432</MarketAvail><NationStores>9946</NationStores><NationProduction>1
584</NationProduction></Product><Product

as this extract from my xml file shows. It allows for pop centres
being lost, commodities being bought and sold, changes in tax rate.
Only thing I would like it to do is be able to sell specific quanties
of commodities. i.e. Non NatSell sales But that's a fairly minor
quible.
