Some printers can, and some cannot. I try my best to print them
all off at work and our old laser would just ...miss... some
icons. Towns and armies, sometimes there, sometimes not.... So
I would believe anyone who looks at you funny when you make these
types of complaints...
Double check the hard copy, and complain to your boss to get new
printers.....we did, and they work great now!

ago... they blamed it on Adobe, they blamed it on the fact that I was running
a PC-compatible while they were using MacIntosh, they never blamed themselves
and never made much if any effort (my opinion) to solve it. So far as I can
tell, the problem only seems to occur when there is more than one icon in a
hex, it will print one but not the other. I had Rhun Easterlings and Riavod
never had a port. I think it might be because one icon may overlay another so
that one becomes background and is hidden from view, but that doesn't explain
a difference between display and printout. My solution: work off the monitor
display and don't bother to waste paper and ink.
