Situation: Burk, an agent carrying 4 artifacts, is travelling in company
when he is slain by Curses. The rest of the company comprises:
Curk C10 A20, no arts
Durk A60, no arts
Eurk A50, 4 arts
Furk A40, no arts.
Question 1) is there any way of predicting which of the above would recover
the 4 arts from Burk's body?
Question 2) if it is random, and the program selects Eurk to recover Burk's
4 arts, Eurk can only pick up 2 because he's already carrying 4 and is not
allowed to carry more than 6. What happens to the other 2? Are they picked
up by a different character or are they dropped on the ground?
Any experiences/advice appreciated. The names in this situation have of
course been changed in order to protect the guilty.

In general, the company/army commander will pick up artifacts from
people killed during the turn. (Assassinations, however, result in the
assassin getting the artifacts.)

No idea. I've never had a company commander so loaded with artifacts
that he couldn't pick up all the artifacts from characters killed during
a turn.
