Asking for opinions on pre-allied neutrals

totally agree, great games, once you see the
light......

yeap. 1650 is already agreed on. Corsair/dun are free.
Rhu and harad are DS. Khand are dead. Great set up.

But I don't think people have agreed on the best split
for 2950.

totally agree again, huge no no, in Aus we had
dispicable people even
going further who would play a side, then play some
neutrals and THEN
play a nation or 2 on the other side just to
guarantee a result!

so many games in Aus were ruined as a result it
became a joke.

So we all logged onto the UK site, joined your games,
and have now clogged up your mailing list. No comments
from me if we have ruined your games (but I would
admit the assie free presence is 2950 g29 isn't as
helpful as I would like it to be).

I remind everyone that Clint did mention that the only
person who had ever asked that his contact details be
hidden was an aussie. I guess Stags's mate followed
him to Wales.

I got the other one bit what is OTOH? you'll need to
explain it to
this dumb aussie.

OTOH - On The Other Hand (not so dumb aussie)

thanks

If WW and Dun are on separate sides, things get very complicated in that area as
they are located in each others back yards. In most games, these two nations work
together and join the same team. I don't think a pre-aligned game should separate
them, for historical reasons and for the well of the balance of the game. With
Dun/WW on the free side, only Cor, RE and KE are left for the DS. I say terminate
the Rhuns and let Cor and Khand join the DS. Nobody wants Rhun anyway. This would
create a well balanced game, but you could claim it's too stable and too boring,
with the nations being on each side of the map. WW/Dun joining the DS and
Cor/Khand joining the Free should be fun to try some time! The nations have some
protection from each other and the development of the game would be very exciting
to follow. Talk about two fronts everywhere. And I like Saruman to be evil...
