Situation: 1000 Cor troops and 1000 DoL troops arrive simultaneously at an
Eot pop which needs 1500 troops to take it. If both Cor & DoL players issue
Capture, or both issue Destroy, obviously they succeed.

But what if there is a communication failure, Cor issues Destroy, and DoL
issues Capture?

I suspect the two orders would be processed separately, leading to both
armies dashing themselves against the walls of the Eot pop in vain. Can
anybody confirm?

In my experience, if one allied army issues Capture and the other Destroy,
both armies will either capture or destroy. I think that it depends on which
army is larger. I don't know what happens if both armies are the same size.
