Sam here, I hope I can answer some of your questions.
Why is it now harder to use Automagic, and I'm getting a problem,
when I had no problem using 1.02.
I think its because Mike accidentally uploaded the wrong file to his site recently. (He has written to this list to apologise and the new file has been uploaded)
I just downloaded 1.07a and transferred my data over (beautiful
idea, except it hangs up on the pop center calculator..all the
order info, etc, comes over nicely.).
And it doesn't work any better than 1.06a.

Its generally best to email these kind of details direct to Mike, as he asks, so that he can continue to bug check.
Same error message that I've asked about and been ignored two
times already.
I am sorry if we missed two of your previous emails, I try and reply immediately to anything that I see and Mike appears to be very diligent in helping people if they mail him.
And the new date system...man, the original was excellent! I now
have to look up the date and then tediously enter it in, when before
I just ran down to the date and selected it...shame that loss, but
I assume it's problems communicating with MAIN..?
It is because not everyone uses the same format of Date in Windows. People in the US favour mm/dd/yy. UK people favour dd/mm/yy and many Europeans have a different fomat to either. We had to change it to make Automagic usable by as many people as we can.
