Automagic and Excel 2003

Hi Everyone,

I have just upgraded my version of Office from XP to 2003 and have a
problem.

When importing my xml file, i'm getting the following erroe message.

"the XMl file you selected is bad or corrupt. Please try again and
ensure you slect the correct XMl file."

I know the file is good, as it works fine with XP.

Anyone else had any problems with 2003?

Dave

I don't have Office 2003 so I can't attest to this, but I was informed
that if you change the extension to .txt (instead of .xml), that it will
work in Automagic. (Something about Office 2003 attempting to reformat
XML files when it opens them.)

As I said, I can't confirm this, but give it a shot and let me know.

Cheers Mike,

This has worked. The only thing that seems different is that it
takes longer to import the info into the worksheet. but hey, I can
put up with that. Its alot quicker than trying to find my old office
XP cd.

Many thanks

Dave
