If automagic helps Harlequin games keep the price down
for the rest of us, I'm all for it. I think it's
completely fair that the amount we are charged for
turns is directly related to the amount of work they
have to perform to process the work.
I used to play this game when GSI ran it, and I think
I paid about $5.50 a turn in 1991. That's not too far
off from where the price will be with Automagic 10
years later. I've also played other PBM games that are
much less interesting and charge a boatload more for a
true turn (i.e. Victory! the Battle for Europe, where
you can easily pay $12-$18/turn). For the cost, I
think ME is one of the best deals going and I can
completed support Harlequin and their decision.
