automagic artifacts

There are two types of secondary powers. The ones that allow access to lost list spells are stable in TA games. That is, the same artifacts allow access to spirit mastery or conjuring ways every game.

There is a second set of powers that are randomized every game. They don't allow a mage to learn a lost list, they allow anycharacter to cast a given spell. These spells include healing spells and movement spells. Things like that.

For FA, the stable secondary powers have been removed. There are no artifacts that allow access to lost list spells. As a result, there are no curse squads, and if you want ConjMo, you have to start with it as an SNA. You will still find the randomized powers that allow a non-mage character to cast certain healing and movement spells.

Are the Sundry powers listed for the artifact listing
in Automagic? I recently set up an FA game and there
were no 2ndary powers listed...I KNOW Mike has that
listing with the powers on it...?

Well look what I've learned today - having never played FA
before, I thought it was just Curses they eliminated, I guess
this is how. Well then, back to the order planning with that
mage...
