Automagic battle calculator

I don't know -- but the old combat calculator I use has room for multiple
armies on both sides whereas the one in Automagic seems to have only one army
slot on each side... -- Ernie III

Is the maths (the non-verified assumptions) in the Automagic battle
calculator basically the same as in the old Holger Eichmann
calculator? I know I could test it by running the same figures
though both for a variety of battles, I just wondered if anyone knows.

For single army battles its very very similar to the Holger
calculator. I've done several tests on it before and after battles
to this extent.

The only difference I can see is in the roundings towards the end of
the calculations. I would rely upon it for a 1 on 1 battle but not
for any bigger battles.
