Automagic feedback / suggestion

Hey Mike

I like the market the way it is too

Suggestions:

Introduce a check that flags if an army / navy /
company commander issues *the wrong* movement order

When issuing a split army / xfer troops order,
prepopulate the number of troops with the number of
each kind currently in the army

Great programme, thanks for doing it and updating it

Cheers
Mike

Introduce a check that flags if an army / navy /
company commander issues *the wrong* movement order

AutoMagic currently doesn't even mine this data from the XML file. (In
fact, I'm not certain that company commander status is even in the XML
file.) I might be able to make it get army commander data, but I'm not
sure how this would work anyway. You might have your army commander
issue an 810 order, assuming his army was going to get wiped out.
Likewise, an army commander could issue an 830 order, since it will
automatically pick up enough transports to move them by sea, assuming
the ships are available. Ditto for a navy commander wanting to move
overland. I just can't see this working very well, if at all. (If I've
misunderstood your statement, please clarify.)

When issuing a split army / xfer troops order,
prepopulate the number of troops with the number of
each kind currently in the army

Again, AutoMagic doesn't currently mine this data from the XML file,
(and there are issues of having a VB code changing user edited cells),
but I'll see if I it's possible.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Mike

When we've got the print program sorted we'll be able to put more information into the XML and then some extra things like this cna be added.
