I've sorted through most of these posts and decided that I should
throw in my two cents worth as well!
Firstly, if this is the format that the fine folks at M.E. want us to
use then I will use it (although I have had trouble downloading it
dooh!). The thing everyone is missing here is that you have a choice,
you can use Automagic, the other MEOW system or do what you do now.
That is a huge plus, they could easily just have said that this is
what you use and thats it. Dont have Excel..too bad. Have a nice day!
With any data entry job, a generic form is a huge must to cut down on
time and mistakes, yet to date they have let people submit orders in
email format however they chose, that is still going to continue from
what I understand, so if you dont like the new system, dont use it!!!
Also, I think it will be a great benefit for any new players who come
aboard. I for one would have killed for this when I started playing.
Unlike now, since I never make any errors!!<S> Thankfully my
teammates were kind enough to point out my errors and what not. But
this system will solve alot of these problems, not to mention cutting
down on the amount of Customer Service that these ME guys do! (which
as anyone who has done it will know, putting up with people who are
wrong when they think they are right is a big pain!!)
In regards to the price increase, I dont see a problem with that. I
for one would be really pissed if I didnt get a raise every year.
There isnt one of you out there who wouldnt agree with me! So, if
thats what they need to do then by all means do it. I will continue
to play! Right now I spend $12.00 a month (ok, maybe more than that,
but you get my jist!) and have a great time. At some point maybe I
wont, but for now thats a small price to pay for the enjoyment I get
from this game. If the price is an issue for you, then you need to do
one of several things 1) cut the number of games you play 2) deal
with it and stop whining or 3) Stop playing! Ideally, this will help
service and options improve which is something that everyone of us
players wants to see!
