Automagic on Mac??

Just to be sure I'm getting an accurate picture here, does
Automagic work on Macs? I
haven't actually had anyone say so, and the previous user's
post regarding Automagic
being hostile to the Mac environment has got me thinking.

Mike, I downloaded Automagic and will give it a good test using
an old game's orders. It actually looks rather spiffy and it's
clear a lot of work has gone into it, so don't let my Mac
comments make you think I don't appreciate and admire the
work you've done! I'm fully in favour of a tool like this and
wish one had been around when I first played ME: it would have
saved a lot of trouble...

I suspect the path bit is going to fail on Mac or Linux, but
we'll see.

If any Mac users do download it, just be aware that it seems
to freeze about ten percent of the way into the conversion
(I'm using Excel 2001) but it's only thinking about something,
so don't force quit on it: it picks up again after ten seconds
or so!

I have a couple of minor interface quibbles, but they're
easily fixed by the user: small text on the artifacts sheet,
for example.

As an aside, this forced me to go look at the new website....
Nice work! However, don't hide Automagic's use under a bushel: if
I hadn't read about it here, I would not have known what it's
used for and probably wouldn't have clicked on the link.

Gavin

I'm using AutoMagic just fine on my iMac running OSX and Office X. At least
for OSX the path feature works just fine. Any problems I got were, as
mentioned, aesthetical so no problemo there.
