Automagic problem on Vista

Hi all,

I’m running Automagic on Excel 2000 (loaded from Microsoft Office 2000 Pro) on a Microsoft Windows Vista machine (new computer) and everytime that i go onto the send worksheet and click on Send Orders i get an error message of “Run-time error ‘1004’ SaveAs method of workbook class failed”

It comes up with the problem before it gets to options 1, 2 or 3.

In the debug program it highlights the following:

.SaveAs Filename:=PathX, FileFormat:=xlTextPrinter

Does anyone have a solution?

Cheers,
Ian

Are you saving over a network to a different machine Ian? Try setting the path to the machine you are on (or try again if it’s the same machine).

I’ve had the same problem with Automagic and choice #1 to auto-send. Since Vista, I’ve been having to choose option #2, then upload it directly to the webserver, which has been working very well for me (thanks MEPBM).

I have no problems with Vista and Office 2007, perhaps it’s a conflict with Office 2000 and Vista.

I think it was an install issue. Ian has advised me that it is now working fine after a re-install.
