I THINK I may have finally fixed the 'Runtime' errors 429 and 1004, regarding the file
save location bug. (Still no fix for the Auto E-Mailing problem.) I sent a test file
to a Mac user, and he reports that he actually got the SEND ORDERS button to work and
save an orders file!
Revision 2002b of AutoMagic is available on the website, and contains the following
changes/fixes:
GAME sheet:
ADDED a Mac/Windows selection cell to ask which O/S you're using.
ENHANCED Data Transfer button so it will work with older revisions by not transferring
some erroneous data to the new revision.
ORDERS sheet:
ENHANCED Capital Orders check to see if you're at your capital, but moving AWAY.
SEND sheet:
ATTEMPTED TO FIX the 'Error 429' and 'Error 1004' bugs related to the file save
location problem. (You MAC USERS, let me know if this works.)
** NEW MAP! **
I've been asked by a few people to make my blank, 4th Age full map available. (I find
it more readable on the computer, and on paper.) In the past I've resisted this,
(thinking of the map as "my baby"), but I've decided that that's kind of ridiculous.
So, I've made the map (and Icon file) available for download on the website. At some
point in the future, my intention is to make starting 1650 and 2950 maps available as
well, when I get the time. (I don't play 1650 or 2950 anymore, so I haven't personally
had a use for such maps.)
