AutoMagic UPDATE

Hey Clint --

He isn't talking about sending the automagic file to you incomplete, but
rather wants the ability to generate an incomplete one that could nonetheless be
input into Order Checker so he can check movement and such. Thus the idea
of being able to generate the file but with a Warning sticker, so to speak --
then the file could supposedly be input into order checker along with the .xml
file for the previous turn to see what shakes out as a problem. Not that
order checker is perfect -- I use it sometimes, but it does have some issues --
also I am not sure how it would handle an incomplete automagic file. But
it does use that file, not a plain-text file, to check by... Of course, if
you enable creating an automagic file that is incomplete, then it does leave
the door open for inattentive players to accidentally send that file to you
guys and cause problems.

Instead of being completely unable to export the orders when you have
errors, it would be nice if you simply got a warning but could
proceed. Many turns (well most, actually) I will have a draft of orders
that I would like to export and run through the java order checker
program, but I might have an LAT target or MovChar destination still
blank. I want it still blank with the yellow highlight, but I have to
fill in an acceptable number to create the export file.

We need it to be complete when sending to us so we need to keep this
in. You can always cut and paste from the SEND section which is what it's
for...

I don't think there's a perfect solution but if Mike can sort something out that would be fine.
