These are my views on the subject, I've read a lot about it, now I've
decided to waffle my viewpoint.
1, I understand Clint putting the price up, he is in buisness to make
a living and he can see the accounts, we can only guess on his profit
margin.
2, If all turn input formats were the same price, less people would
use automagic, why change if you have no incentive ? If all turns
went up to £4.50 but clint asked all windows users to run
Automagic,
then I bet less than half of us would bother.
3, Automagic will help Harlequin provide a better service, the less
time the staff have to sit there inputing numbers in boxes the better
for all.
4, Shouting about staff cutbacks and making assumptions on clints
buisness strategy is funny to read, but a bit OTT.
5, I also use Linux, but find it akward to use for some things, so I
also run WinXP, so I am not affected in the price rise. I would not
however, complain if my turn cost increased to £4.50.
6, Its bed time, and I have work in the morning
