Automagic

A curious error corrected. If you have a character name that starts
for instance "got it" when trying to enter it onto Automagic as "got
i" excel will try to capitalise the "i" but then Automagic wont
accept it as it wants everything to be in lower case. Go to Tools,
Autocorrect and delete the line that corrects I for i.

Lewis

Excel will try to Autocorrect many things. It will also try to 'fill in'
info based on info in other cells within the same column. In Automagic,
this can cause some problems, so on the INSTRUCTIONS sheet, I put I a
button to disable autocorrect, which will stop Excel from doing this.

I could make Automagic automatically do this whenever you load it, and
set it back whenever you unload it, but I'd rather not mess with
people's Excel settings without them actively doing something.

I'm having a similar problem. Playing Rhun in a game
and trying to do a guard order on "Huz III". I've
turned the capital correction off on Excel, however,
AM is still not allowing the correct syntax to be
entered in the field. I've tried "huz i" and
"huz I". The only syntax being accepted is "huz l"
(ell) or "huz 1" (one).

Ssssoooooo, what's up with this?

And the moral of this tale is dont give your characters a name with
more than one word where the first is three characters long and the
second starts with an I.

Do something sensible like name them in Gaelic for the numbers 11 to
as high as you want, seen that one, professional cyclists, seen that
one, professional footballers, (Thierry Henry assassinated Vinyaran)
seen that one or plays on words (hero Xero Kredibility of Northen
Gondor), hats off to that guy he had a seriously good sense of humour.

Well, I suppose, the nations with starting characters
having only three letters and an "I" could retire
those characters from the start of the game. However,
what if AM wouldn't even accept that order??!!!

I was able to get the correct syntax, "huz i", entered
by deleting the auto-correct statement,
"change i to I".
