Automagic

There was an earlier comment regarding Automagic being the cause of
someone's orders being messed up. I'm curious to know exactly what those
circumstances were.

If Automagic is actually altering someone's orders, I'd like to know
about it so I can try to fix the problem.

If it was just a matter of Automagic not catching someone's orders
error, then that's just a case of checking your own orders for errors
before you send them. I can tell you right now that Automagic won't
catch or correct 100% of order mistakes, so please don't assume that it
will and rely on that alone. You've got to check your orders.

I had a problem of Automagic not working correctly in a separate
incident a couple weeks ago. MEG was kind enough to fix the problem,
and I've very happy with their response, and customer service. I
assumed they were going to pass the Automagic info along so it can be
fixed, but just in case they didn't....

Automagic does not handle the fourth age order, MvTrnMap correctly.
The rule book states the valid directions are "(ne/nw), w, (se/sw),
e" but Automagic only allows entries of "ne, nw, w, se, sw, e". (I
think I got those right, but I'm doing it from memory.)

So Automagic needs to be fixed to allow the valid (and bizarre)
entries of "(ne/nw)" and "(se/sw)" for north and south map movement
respectively.

Thanks.

CLINT:
I seem to remember this dicussion a while ago. I thought we had settled
on "ne, nw, e, se, sw, w" as the accepted info?

The old rules do indeed say "ne/nw, e, se/sw, w", but the new (draft)
rules say "ne, nw, e, se, sw, w".

We'll need to resolve this one (or verify the correct format) so I can
have Automagic accept the correct format (and so the new draft rules
show the correct info as well).

Yes it needs to be resolved. It's come up twice so far but we've fixed it in those situations.
