Automated Reply Problems

Is anyone else having problems receiving automated replies? I keep getting no acknowledgement after sending emails to me@middleearthgames.com from any of the email addresses I use regularly.

Clint told me recently you have to have “ME” in the subject line to generate the auto response; other that that, I’ve had no issues.

Ok, please clarify that last statement. What exactly should the subject line look like for my emails to get read? I’ve been trying to update my account and I get no response.

They’re in a Face to Face this weekend. If you have “me” in the subject line, you’ll get an autoresponse - I expect it’s either when someone Opens the email (not going to happen this weekend…) or maybe turns on the dang computer in the first place?? “Send/Recieve New Mail”…etc…?? Again, unlikely for a while, either Monday or some really odd hour…

My understanding is, just the two letters M & E together without a space between, as in:

Subject line: ME Game #99, Position #1

I’m sure they all get read <g> but to get the auto response, make sure “ME” is in the subject line.

That’s correct - I’ve contacted Ben and hopefully explained (he’s now had the auto-response).

To avoid Spam problems if you can put ME in the subject line that helps us a lot and you get an autoresponse (as in the house rules) :smiley: :wink:
