Hi,
As a relatively disinterested party, can I just echo
something Clint said ...

The first 3 months are the worst - after that everything should be an
improvement over the way DGE and Harlequin did things.

When Harlequin took over the game in the UK (from Allsorts /
GAD) I think it's fair to say that there was a certain
amount of bad feeling circulating. Inevitably with a
hand-over of a game this big there is going to be some
degree of disruption, mostly down to differences in the day
to day running of things between the new company and the old
company. This sort of thing isn't new in PBM, or in the
'real' world come to that.

However when the dust settled, as I am sure 99% of UK
players will attest, the service Harlequin provided proved
at least as good as that of their predecessors (personally I
find it much better). Having had some considerable
experience of PBM in general in the UK (having been a GM for
10- years, run a magazine and currently involved with
running Flagship) I would say that Harlequin offer a
firendly and professional service exceeded by no other PBM
company in the UK.

Cut them some slack for the first month or so - taking over
this many games is sheer hell - and you'll find yourself
more than pleasantly surprised.

Colin.
